The tabs at the top are the application steps
Family, Program, Student, Billing, Policies, and Review are like pages in a packet. You move through them one at a time. The colored tab that is highlighted is the page you are on.
-
Some pages have extra tabs inside
On Family, Student, Billing, and Policies you will see smaller tabs such as Family info, Primary guardian, or Medical info. The form will not let you continue until those parts are filled. Tap the tabs, or use Next section at the bottom.
-
Use Next section if you do not see the tabs
On a phone the extra tabs can be easy to miss. Look for Next section under the form. That button opens the next part of the same page (for example Guardian, then Medical, then Emergency contacts).
-
Continue saves this page and goes forward
After you finish every part of a page, Continue saves your answers and takes you to the next big step. If the button says Next section, there is still another tab on this page.
-
If it says you cannot continue, check the other tabs
A red message usually means a required box is on a tab you have not opened yet — not that the website is broken. Open each tab on that page, fill the red fields, then Continue again.
-
Last step: review and create a login
On Review, check your information and create a username and password. That login is how you track the application in the parent portal. Need help? Call YEA and we can walk through it with you.
